Guest Post by Foxy Wizard

I hate to beat a dead horse, but really, this one isn't dead! And it is killing our jobs, our economy and the best healthcare system in the world. And, it hasn't even been fully implemented. Employers aren't hiring, because, as we speak, new regulations are being written. How can a company plan for that? No one knows what these new policies will cost, but those who have found out have been shocked. Not at how much they are able to save. NO. At how much more they will be forced to pay. The Obama Administration is closely guarding how many people have actually enrolled. Can you guess why? I can't. I can only assume it is because a) people aren't able to navigate the system well enough to enroll, or b) once people see what these new policies are gonna cost, they simply do not enroll. Either way, the news can't be good.

So, the Affordable Care Act is NOT affordable, and more people are losing access to Care than are gaining it as a result of this law. (see article below) This is not about politics. This is about the general welfare of the American People.
A scant three weeks ago, Ted Cruz made his heroic 21 hour speech on the Senate floor, detailing the catastrophe this law would be for the American people. For this, he was called a terrorist, a traitor, and anarchist, a loony bird, a suicide bomber, and more. He has received death threats from the more fevered brains on the left. He has been excoriated as much by the establishment Republicans as he has by the Democrats.
After proposing to defund Obamacare, and having that go nowhere, the Republicans proposed to Obama and the Democrats two things: that the personal mandate be delayed one year, and the Congress, Staff, Labor Unions and President submit themselves to the same laws they are forcing on us, the American People.

We can't do that! We can't be subjected to this kind of tactics! This is extortion! Terrorism! Why, we want a CLEAN resolution!, they bellowed. And Harry Reid wouldn't even allow it to be debated.
Fast forward to today. Senator Joe Manchin, D, proposed a one year delay. Secretary Sebilius signaled (your favorite word, Nate) that maybe it should be delayed. Oh, what forward thinkers they are! See how much they care?

The Titanic has just scraped the iceberg. Most are still laughing and joking. The Captain is playing it down. Everyone knows the Titanic is unsinkable! Rearrange the deck chairs! Have a drink! But a few of us are looking at reality, and it isn't looking good. Maybe it's time some of you Libs to slap yourselves and start waking up. This will be a disaster. For all of us. You, too.

Health insurance cancellation notices soar above Obamacare enrollment rates

I swear, I didn't know, when I wrote this piece, that Obama's former Chief of Staff, this morning, would compare Obamacare to the Titanic! I guess the NSA really is reading my emails.

Most of the people I have talked to that admit that they voted for hope and change are Nits. One guy, who I have known since before grade school pulled a Free0352 because he was mad at the Bush administration's foreign policy ("the rest of the world was hating us"). The guy now says that he gets so worked up every time Jug Ears is on TV that he has to quickly change the channel!
I can't say that I have talked to anyone who supports Comrade Hussein because he is a glamorous celebrity, although I think that there really are many such idiots.
This will no doubt shock those who read my comments: I really am a hardhearted, mean, vindictive person who enjoys watching those he dislikes suffer. I have enjoyed seeing both the Messiah and His Disciples squirm. I have a feeling that I can look forward to a lot of additional pleasure seeing those egotistic, self righteous asses get further deflated as "affordable" health care keeps unraveling.
The problem is, however, that the Chicagocrats are going to drag us all down the shitter with them. That is why it is so imperative to defeat them in the next two elections, and the only way we can do that is to subordinate all the other issues to sane national security and sound economics.

I know what you mean, Crabby. I am enjoying watching the Democrats squirm and I would enjoy watching the Obamabots suffer if I weren't suffering with them.

But there are now 7 Democrat senators who want to vote to delay. I guess they're traitors now too who should be on trial for sedition.

Just heard on Hewitt about a young woman whose private coverage WAS $199 per month, $1500 deductible, and full coverage after that. She was “totally happy with it.” When she went to renew, she was told her plan did not meet the standards of ACA, that her best deal of 10 plans would change her premium to $278 per month, deductible of $6500, and only 70% coverage after that!
It isn't the bumbling website created by a disgraced Canadian firm and too many prime and sub contractors to count. It is the ACA itself that is the problem. Tell us, Nate, Tom, Jim, et al, how this is BETTER? The ACA depends on healthy young people propping up the system by paying huge premiums and deductibles for coverage they are far less likely to use than the infirm and elderly. That is a form of indentured servitude, and they voted for it happily, ignorantly, trustingly, in droves!
We warned you, but were at the very best ignored. Mostly we were insulted and attacked. Well, suck it up, boys and girls, you're gonna get it and get it good and hard!

Schadenfreud moment recently. A guy at a local pub, who cannot stand my existence - don't know why, maybe because over the years I have tossed his leftist snark, venom, and bile right back at him - was sitting a few bar stools over from me talking to another guy. I heard him pout that his health coverage is going UP over $200 a month. "I voted for him (Obama) TWICE, for this?" Yeah, sparklies.

Liberals are seriously retarded. I read one article where a surprised Obama supporter said: "I was all for Obamacare until I found out I was paying for it." What a dumbass. Who did you think was paying for it? Tom, have you signed up and gotten all those savings you have been reading about?

The broken website is actually helping the Democrats. When it does actually work, they won't be able to blame programmers for this disaster.

Foxy Wizard said...

This is true. I think the reason the Regime is hiding the number of enrollments is because when people actually get in and see the costs, they see the rates and don't actually enroll.

Really, it's time to repeal this pig and salt the earth behind it. Then it's time for the NSA to find out just who the hell was blackmailing John Roberts, who managed to write both the majority opinion and the dissent. Surely our curious and impartial press would want to investigate this unprecedented event.

Z, maybe he was agin' it, afor he was fer it?

Zelda said...

Nah. It's not like he's running for office. Something made him change his mind and I want to know what it was.

Noted: Lack of lefty responses.

Foxy Wizard said...

Wow. The Lefties and Trolls must be curled up in a fetal position right about now. Truth can be a hard master sometimes.

Zelda said...

Right? How did it all go so wrong? The government is magic and Obama said all the right words. What happened?

free0352 said...

Most importantly all the liberals feelings were in the right place. Intent after all is more important than execution.

Foxy Wizard said...

Yes, and since we disagreed with the law, we're still racists. Or something...

free0352 said...

You can disagree with laws, just not Barack Obama. That's racist. Unless you're Bill Clinton - then we should be so proud of Obama because a few years ago someone of his skin color would be getting Bubba Coffee.

Oh wait..

Did anyone else watch Megan Kelly last night?
Turning up that IRS memo from July, 2010, saying that 40-70% of people on individual insurance plans would loose them because of Obama Care is a smoking gun, Megan says, that proves the Messiah has been lying all along.
Delicious!!

Foxy Wizard said...

It would be delicious if we didn't have a freight train coming up our ass.

Zelda said...

Oh, it's still delicious. We're not signing up for Obamacare, Obama won't DARE make us pay the penalty after this epic debacle, and we might just take the corrupt insurance industry out while we're at it. People will have to start paying their doctors again out of pocket (which is the only way to get true choice in healthcare) and insurance will be reduced to what it was always supposed to be - catastrophic. It
would be terribly ironic if the Democrats accidentally bring about the reforms we need, but I'll take what I can get. Here's to a glimmer of hope.

CrabbyOldMan said...

And it is getting even more delicious. The numbers of people getting cancellation letters is skyrocketing.
Sham Wow is trying to say he didn't say that, but he is stuck on video flypaper.
He won't be able to duck direct confrontation forever, so I think there is a good chance he will eventually have a public meltdown.

Foxy Wizard said...

I just can't do it. I just can't say: "How delicious that we were right" when cancer patients who had insurance are losing it. It isn't about being right. It is about the quality of life being destroyed by these idiots.

CrabbyOldMan said...

I can because there is absolutely no one who governs by sob story as much as the Disciples do.

Foxy Wizard said...

I'm talking about the human beings who are suffering because of this abomination.

Zelda said...

Oh, it's a dark comedy to be sure.

Where is your racial sensitivity??

I think it's leaking out of Nate's teats.
