I hate it when people that know nothing about guns think they can make "common sense" rules about something they know nothing about.
"Common sense." I have learned to be suspicious of that phrase. It pretty much always means "We will use the force of the state to reduce your liberty so you conform to our vision of how you must live your life."
Sounds like justification for outlawing guns, not expanding gun use. Maybe we should hold all gun owners responsible for the acts that are committed with their guns, regardless of circumstances. Or maybe gun companies. I'd expect that would result in guns that can only be fired by their owners.
